Medical and Recovery Board services at HeartSong provide compassionate, comprehensive care for horses recovering from surgery, illness, injury, or managing ongoing medical needs. Each horse receives attentive daily care, hands-on support, and individualized wellness services to promote full recovery.
Care plans are guided by each horse’s veterinarian and tailored to their unique needs, combining medical oversight with integrative wellness offerings. Close coordination ensures continuity and seamless implementation of treatments, while connections with farriers, bodyworkers, herbalists, and nutritionists create a supportive network around every horse. Horses also have access to several modified turnout options and an individualized soft-footing rehab track, allowing gradual movement and controlled exercise to restore strength, balance, and long-term well-being.
When a horse is ready to return home, a detailed transition plan and guidance are provided, equipping owners with the tools and knowledge to maintain progress and ongoing health.
